Joseph Feuerstein, MD, is Director of Integrative Medicine. A medical doctor specializing in family medicine, he recently completed a fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona, School of Medicine, where he trained directly under the renowned natural physician, Dr. Andrew Weil. In this two-year program, Dr. Feuerstein studied a wide range of CAM modalities with special emphasis on nutrition and disease prevention.

Kathleen Sanders, FNP, is board certified as a family nurse practitioner,has a master's degree in public health, and completed a fellowship in integrative medicine at the University of Arizona with Dr. Andrew Weil through a scholarship from the Bravewell Collaborative.

Our Integrative Medicine Program is designed to work with you, your physician and other health care professionals to achieve your holistic health goals. Whether you want to create a complementary health program that improves your general wellness or have a specific issue that requires problem solving we can help.
The Center for Integrative Medicine and Wellness treats the whole person - mind, body and spirit - using a safe and evidence-based approach customized for each individual. Our group of expert physicians and a nurse practitioner are board
certified in family medicine and fellowship trained in integrative medicine and certified in pain and palliative care. The Center works with you and your physicians to develop a coordinated, multidisciplinary treatment plan.

The first appointment is a comprehensive interview and health assessment, where we learn as much as we can about your medical condition, your goals, energy level and lifestyle. Our doctors will develop an individualized program to achieve your health and wellness goals along with a plan for follow-up care. We'll continue to communicate regularly with your doctors throughout the process.
